Loft Or Condo - How to Do Home Lighting
by Vinny Sharma
Condominium homes do have premier conveniences and locations; however, for this the people are required to forego storage and space options. These limitations can have far reaching consequences. Even the home lighting is affected! To give my introduction, I am a property agent working in Minnesota Twin Cities; I have specialized in condo homes with over six years of experience. Therefore, to guide the young people below is an introduction to home lighting:
The home lighting in any house or home is determined by a mix of:
Natural Lighting: Nobody will argue that sunlight is the most preferred source of light because it is free and provides natural variations in color from morning till evening. Therefore, for natural lighting make sure that you have windows on both sides of your condo homes.
Apart from windows, what you can also look at is that your house should have a balcony in it. You will find that many normally priced condo homes offer good enough sized balconies for natural lighting.
Artificial Ambient Lighting: First to explain ambient means surrounding i.e. present on each and every side. For lighting in small homes, this concept can be misleading as many types of lights on ceilings do also provide task lighting. For example, a small light above your external door is inside the ceiling; however, its main function still remains to enlighten you while opening your door so that you can get inside easily and quickly.
Task lighting: In home lighting other lights are clearly for some special purpose. For instance, table lamps in lighting are preferred over floor lamps because it saves you some space. In addition, I will recommend you to use fluorescent tube lamps which can be fitted below your kitchen cabinets. They do not take much space either.
Accent lighting: For lighting, accent lighting can be considered a light and small fixture that adheres to a wall. It is also called sconce lighting fixture. In home lighting, the basic purpose of such lights is to normally highlight the decorative items or other artwork on the wall. In home lighting sometimes in loft homes, people often utilize monorail track lighting so as to get a mix of accent, task, and ambient lighting.
